In May 2024, Cameroon signed a BOT contract with Augentic, known for issuing passports in 48 hours. Augentic deployed 700 fixed and 300 mobile enrollment stations, launched a pre-enrollment platform, and equipped police with 1,000 advanced ID terminals.
