I addressed the media this morning regarding the role of sanctions in dealing with impunity by the regime.

After several attempts and being blocked, this afternoon we were able to visit our comrades in detention at Kitalya Mini-Max Prison, together with several leaders. They confirmed how they have been regularly approached by regime officials asking them to implicate themselves and me in all manner of crimes in exchange for their freedom, money and houses. They have been promised that they will be released once they implicate themselves. Of course we reminded them how Museveni and his criminal regime operate and asked them to be very cautious.
